We all know that one of the most important things to a successful social media presence is being organised. Planning your content in advance via an editorial calendar / content diary is crucial to ensure you are delivering engaging content in a consistent fashion. Whether you are posting once a week, or several times a day, sorting out what you’re going to post in advance, then scheduling the posts automatically will take the frustration out of staring blankly at your computer each morning thinking of what to write.
My advice is to come up with themes for your posts that your fans / followers will look forward to each week. If for example you provide a funny comic or quiz on a given day each week, spend a few hours composing 3 or 4 of these posts which you can schedule to publish in the future. You can usually be more productive when you’re on a role research or writing on a given topic, rather than chopping and changing looking for random pieces of information.
